check /fill plug is on right side of tranny in big crosshatched looking area,plug about half way down from top. gl-4 or gl-5 is OK. remember if it is 4 wheel drive: front and rear differential oil is ONLY GL-5 drain plug should be on bottom of tranny. look close cause it gets covered in road grime ,making it hard to see.
Sportage has a drain plug on the bottom of the pan. which will drain most of the fluid out.
