first pistion on the driver side... ON ANY GM VEHICLE #1 IS ALWAYS THE FIRST SPARK PLUG HOLE ON THE DRIVER SIDE
number one cylinder is always the right side front ie. passenger side closest to the radiator
There are two hidden carpeted doors on each side of the center counsel by your calf. Driver side has most of your aux. IE: cigarette lighter.
facing engine #1 left to Right ie #1 on the passenger side #4 on the drivers side.
As you stand in front of the car looking at the engine, Cylinder 1 is in front of your left hand, then 3, then 5, then 7. The cylinders at the back, by the firewall, are 2, 4, 6 8. from your left to your right - ie from the passenger side to the drivers side. Richard
A lot of workAnything is possible, the engine compartment is made to accept a 6 cylinder but you will need to fabricate engine mounts, use all of the Buick engene controls, retain the Buick transmission ( the shifter may not fit in the Isuzu hole), and have a hybrid drive shaft made from the two keeping the Isuzu back half and the Buick front half. Hopefully the cooling hoses are somewhat similar. A lot of work in other words.
side by side ie side2...
Starboard, ie the right hand side.
If the engines are the same size then yes (ie) 3 cylinder 1.0L to 3 cylinder 1.0L.
V = (pi * radius * radius * height)/2 ie. formula for the volume of a cylinder divided by 2
Nearly! The cosine is the adjacent side (ie not the opposite side) divided by the hypotenuse.
pi times 0.1055 ie 0.33 units, to two significant figures
The engine is Buick red..... I had a GS 340 that was parted, but I still have the engine in reserve for verification.... The 340 in the non GS (ie- Sportwagon was a blue- green color), the 300's were the same color.
