Right Front Cylinder.
firewall 3 - 6 2 - 5 1 - 4 front
Which brand??? looking at the engine from the front. Ford : 1-2-3 for the left bank Pontiac: 1-3-5 for right bank Buick: 1-3-5 for left bank chrysler: 1-3-5 for left bank
It depends on the vehicle. It will be the bank that includes cylinder #1.
It is the middle cylinder on the passenger side. With few exceptions the number one cylinder is the farthest one forward. If you look closely on your 4.3 you'll see that the driver side (left) cylinder bank is slightly forward compared to the right bank. On a Chevy they are numbered back and forth from left to right. So, the left bank is numbered 1,3,5 and the right bank is numbered 2,4,6. Hope this helps.
On your 1999 Ford F-150 , 4.2 liter V6 engine : The left bank is the drivers side of the engine ( or bank 2 ) The right bank is the passenger side of the engine ( or bank 1 )
No , the right bank is the passenger side and the drivers side is the left bank As if you were sitting in the drivers seat Also , passenger side of engine is Bank 1 and drivers side is Bank 2 in a Ford Expedition
stand at the front of the engine. the cylinder head at your left is actually your right bank, and the head at your right is labled as your left bank, as if you were to label them in reference from the position of being seated in the truck. but for simplicity I will give you reference from the perspective of standing in front of the truck, facing the engine, because that is the way you will be working on it.On the left bank, or the cylinder head at your right, the cylinder closest to you is Number 1 Cylinder. The next one back on the same head is Cylinder Number 3. And the left bank Cylinder closest to the firewall, furthest from you, is Cylinder Number 5.Let's go to the right bank, or the cylinder head at your left standing in front of the motor. The Cylinder closest to you is #2, then #4, and the cylinder furthest from you on this head, closest to the firewall, is then #6.So, the most important aspect of the answer: the firing order is very simple! This is your firing order. 1-2-3-4-5-6
It depends on the vehicle. Bank one is what ever side cylinder number one is on.
2,4,6 from left to right on front bank,1,3,5 from left to right on rear head.(when facing engine from front of van)
It is the second cylinder from the front on the left bank (driver's side of the "V")
On all ford V blocks, Cylinder one is the first on the left, as you face the engine from the front. On most Ford engines the #1 cylinder is the first cylinder at the front of the engine on the passenger side (right side). Counting back from there puts #4 at the back of the right side, and number 5 in the front of the left side. Number 6 would be the second one back on the left side.
The cylinder order is 1, front left bank- nearest the radiator, 2 3 4 (all on the left bank, counting towards the firewall), 5- nearest the radator on the right bank, 6 7 8, ending at the firewall on the right bank. The firing order is 1 3 7 2 6 5 4 8. Hope that helps!
