The main one for the cruise control is fuse f2.17 It is a 15 amp fuse. I hope that helps.
The cruise control fuse for a 2002 Protege is under the dash in the fuse panel. It is a 10 amp fuse and is listed as "meter fuse."

below the relays are a row of mini fuse. fourth from the left is a 15 amp. That is also the horn fuse. It powers the cruise as well. Should have a fuse puller in the cover for the fuses.
