Look under the hood, at the throttle body assembly. You should see the accelerator cable attached to a pulley like assembly and when the pedal is depressed, the cable should move the throttle valve.
The throttle position sensor is attached to the shaft that the throttle cable is moving. It will be the part with the electrical connections.
