in the fuse panel located in the engine comparment
Where is BCM located on 2001Grand Prix
The bcm is located behind the fuse panel under the driver side below the steering wheel there is a plastic panel and when you remove that there is the fuse box and behind the fuse box is the bcm
inside the center console - right side - the panel is held in with a velcro tab in the front. You will find the second of three fuse panels within - that is also the BCM.
For a 2004 Nissan Quest, the fuse that controls the internal lights is a 15 amp fuse labeled "BCM Battery Saver". It is in the cabin fuse box (below and to the left of the steering column) and on the lefthand fuse column 3rd fuse from the bottom.
Right side under trim panel.

The 96 grand am does not have a body control module according to the dealership parts dept. It does however have a brake control module that is located in the firewall about in the center of the cowl area right next to the blower motor.
Left side under instrument panel between the emergency brake pedal and the steering column and behind the fuse and relay module.
The fuse that works the cooling fan(s) depend on the make/model/year of the car. In general cooling fans are controlled by a fan relay & fuse or by the ecm, bcm,pcm (ecm/bcm/pcm are computers)

Check either in the dash block under BCM or under hood block under BCM
Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait 2 minutes for airbag capacitor to discharge. Remove the fuse block cover under the drivers-side left footwell. On the back of the fuse block is the BCM. You'll need to remove 4 torx t20 screws (two high and two low) and disconnect two wiring connectors on the bottom back of the unit, to get it out. When all wires and screws are removed, gently rock it back and forth from the top to separate it from the fuse block. There's a connector between the fuse block and the BCM (up high) that you need to separate.
