it is under the center counsel directly under the storage compartment
The external amp is located just behind and slightly lower than the head unit.
It Is under the center console bucket.
its most likely inside the bottom of the console if you have one.
There are 4 amps, one on each speaker, the speaker is in an enclosure with the amp built into it.

Each speaker has it's own amp. Generally, the capacitors fail. Bose will repair for about $100 each.
you can if you install the Bose amp also, just the radio swap will result in no sound.
It's inside to rear compartment right above the subwoofer.

depends what kinda system the factory put in it .. if its a base system (UQ3 /UQ5) then the amp would be in the radio, if it has a Bose system (UQ7) the amp will be either under the front seat in the centre or under the centre console.
For a RH drive vehicle at least: For Bose system amp under passenger seat. For non Bose equipped amp is under driver's seat. It is often a fuse gone but the best solution is to link the speaker wires together on the amp's plugs to bypass the (rubbish) 20W amplifier. Alan. Car Audio Shop Auckland New Zealand.
