have your crankshaft positioning sensor checked.mine would die when i would slow down or come to a stop. yeah the CPS( CAMshaft Positioning Sensor) has a recall on it on all diesel model 350's so take it to a ford dealership and they will replace free of charge, although mine has been replaced 3 times becuz they keep goin bad just keep an eye on it and most tuners read DTC's and will read that code and tell you addition by P. Gear First what year/engine? 6.9/7.3/6.0/6.4/6.7, lots of Ford diesel engines out there and they all have their unique issues. BTW, if its a 15 year old 7.3L for example, I will be shocked if Ford will replace the CPS for you at N/C.
i got free cps from the summer pack
