Does anyone know the proper way to remove the clutching fan on a 2000 Chevy express van 3500 5.7 ltr?
I have a 1999 Chevy Express 2500 and a 2000 Chevy Express 3500 with 5.7 V8 and they both have a 4L80-E transmission in them. they are NOT cheap to rebuild. Over $2100 to rebuild one.

parts needed for a tuneup on 2004 chevy express 3500 van
There is not drain plug, you need to remove lower rad hose.
Funny You ask... but I have a 1999 Chevy Express 3500 and I DO have a key to start the vehicle and a different key to unlock the doors (which can be a pain in the butt sometimes). So I guess the answer is YES... but I'm not sure if that is standard for all Express vans, the year or if it's just on certain ones. Hope this helps!
Chevy Express 1500 is 0.5 ton, 2500 is 0.75 ton, and 3500 is 1 ton.
inside of the distributor
connected to the bottom of the steering box
