The cam position sensor is located on the passenger's side of the engine. You must remove the Power Steering pump to remove it. With the power steering pump removed, the sensor is visible directly on top of the intake valley. It has a 6-8 inch pigtail with a three wire electrical connector on the end Some of them have an 8mm bolt holding them on and some of them have a 10 mm bolt, depending on build date. Extreme care should be used when removing the sensor because they will break off into the block easily. If the sensor does break, screw a drywall screw into it, and use pliers to pull on the drywall screw. Install is reverse of removal.
