The fuel pump for that 88 S-10 is located inside the fuel tank. It is part of the fuel pump module.

This is about the time GM switched to Throttle Body Fuel Injection. If it is has a carburetor then it does not have a computer. If it is Throttle Body FI, which looks similar to a carb, the computer is located behind the passenger side kick panel.

It doesn't have one, it is throttle body fuel injected.
