My factory shop manual is for a 1992 rather than 1991, but the only significant difference I've found so far is that my early '91 (mfg. date 10/90)
GT has the old distributor with the separate coil on the firewall rather than the one with the coil integrated into the distributor base.
The manual shows it buried under the lower dash where it merges into the center console, below and forward of the radio/CD player. I think the shortest route to it is by pulling the radio unit and maybe the ash tray under it Good luck with that; it's tight in there.

It's in the center of the fire wall.there is one more by the ecu
set you gap at .031
