I just came in from fixing this same thing.
I was reading where this guy said to go out and start the truck then keep tapping the EGR at the base till the peace of carbon comes out, you can hear it getting a little better every time you tap it, about 15 taps and the idle smoothen out, for how long I don't know. You can get the base on the passenger side with a small ball peen.

It is inside of the engine oil pan. You will have to remove the oil pan to get to it.

The IAC (Idle Air Control) is located in the base of the throttle body.
The shift solenoid on your 1994 Chevrolet Blazer, is located on the top of the transmission. The solenoid will be labeled.
In 1994 they started putting the vortec motor in the Blazer and the push button transfer case. Most of the body panels are the same.
That would be the 4L60E transmission.
It is bolted to the side of the timing cover right behind the harmonic balancer. That is the bottom pulley on the front of the engine.
