On my 1995 Ford Explorer , which has the 4.0 litre EFI , V6 engine , the sending unit for my oil pressure gauge is on the drivers side of the engine below the power steering pump

my 1995 Explorer , with the 4.0 L OHV engine has 2 temperature sending units. They are located on the intake manifold by the thermostat housing (where top radiator hose connects to engine) Looking from the front of the vehicle, the temperature sending unit on the left is for the temperature guage in your instrument cluster and the larger temperature sending unit on the right is for the EEC system.

On the 1995 Saturn SL1 The oil pressure sending unit is the sensor closest to the alternator. The unit is on the back of the block.
On my 1995 with the 4.0 L OHV engine, the coolant temperature sending unit for the temperature guage is located on the intake manifold just to the left of the thermostat housing when standing in front of the vehicle. The larger sending unit on the right is for the EEC system.
