Passenger side of black plastic intake plenum.
After consulting several sources, someone finally called a local Buick dealer who informed me that a 1990 LeSabre does NOT have a map sensor, it was the Mass Air Flow sensor that needs replacing.
Don't think yours will have a MAP sensor. It will have a MAF sensor, and it is attached to the air filter housing.
According to my Chilton manual, page 4-22, the MAP sensor is used on 96 thru 99 LeSabres/Bonnevilles/Eighty-eights, not 95's.
The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor on a 2005 Buick LeSabre is typically located on the intake manifold. It is usually mounted near the throttle body, often on the driver's side of the engine. To access it, you may need to remove some engine covers or components around the intake area. Always consult a repair manual for specific details related to your vehicle.
Trouble code P0108 means: MAP Sensor Circuit High Input
I own a 2000 Buick Lesabre with 164,00 on it. I am on my 2nd map sensor in less than 2 years. But if buying this part is all I have to do for my 13 year old gem I am happy.
