The manifold absolute pressure sensor on a 1989 Firebird Formula is attached to the passenger side fire wall just above and to the right of the air conditioner evaporator housing. There is a three wire plug and a single vacuum line connected to the bottom.
The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is located near the throttle body on the intake manifold.

Its called a Mas air flow sensor and its located in your air induction that runs to your throttle body a wire should be located on your black hosing hose
should be a small black plastic box close to the distributor mounted on a bracket. it will have a couple of wires and a vacuum line the runs to the intake manifold
