Where is the map sensor on a 1997 Chevy 1500?
Does it have an ignition control module? That may be the cause. Or possibly a MAP sensor or a Crank position sensor or Cam position sensor. Check those first.
The trouble codes 23, 31, and 32 for a 1993 Geo Metro correspond to the following issues: Code 23: Intake air temperature sensor circuit high voltage Code 31: EGR system malfunction Code 32: Exhaust gas recirculation circuit malfunction
Try the right (passenger) side firewall near battery.
Had the same problem with my 96 Geo Metro........ I replaced the catalytic converter....... Real easy car to work on. Part was about $100 from www.rockauto.com heat up the bolts with some map gas and the bolts will come off
right where the GM mechanic left it
The Mass Air Flow sensor is located on the intake of Mercedes 420e.
It is on the front of the throttle body.
the map sensor should be visable on the top of the engine, right behind the intake manifold.
this map/boost sensor is located next the the evap canister in the engine bay
The Geo Prizm GSi alrady has a 4AGE smallport MAP sensor engine. The other model of Prizms have the 4AFE engine, which would be a downgrade in performance.
