Nissan timing marks g15 engin
i need nissan sentra 1.6 timing marks diagram
There are two timing settings on the LD28. The injection pump has marks on the crank and pump pulleys. The belt has two marks to line up with the marks. If you are reusing the timing belt the tooth count between the marks is twenty cogs. These are aligned with the pulley marks up. If you need the cam driving chain procedure it would require a diagram to make it easy to follow so re-post and I will try to educate myself to do that. Good luck.
The timing marks are on the belt and the sprockets. not on the engine! the box that the belt is supplied in shows the mark locations. well i use Gates belts and these do!
Typically diesel engines do not have timing marks. However, if there are timning marks on your Mazda B2500 diesel, they will be found below the crankshaft section of the engine.
This depends on wich engine is in the vehicle. The 1.6 and 2.0 petrol are timing chains. the 2.0 and 2.3 diesels have belts. the timing marks are as follows: 2.0 diesel: cam and injection pump marks should be at 11 o'clock. crankshaft mark at 2 o'clock with keyway at 12 o'clock. 2.3 diesel: same as 2.0 diesel. Hope this helps.
The 1996 Nissan Maxima timing marks can be found on the main pulley, on the front of the engine. The timing marks will be scattered around the outside of the pulley.
