i have an 86 bronco-II and my rotor cap had crack and the button had burn up. also the front fuel jet is clogged and running out of fuel. those were my problems. also the timing was out.
i have a 86 bronco that cuts out when it reaches running tempature.
i beleave the inertia switch is located behind the glove box or just below it.. that's where it is located on my 86 and my old 88 bronco II
There is the FULL SIZE BRONCO and then the Bronco II ( the Bronco II is smaller , eventually replaced by the Ford Explorer)

check your dip stick to see if your engine oil is too low. also check oil sending unit
