The 1995 Taurus uses the old OBD1 system. The test plug is on the firewall (passenger side). This system can give you fault codes through the "check engine light" but you would need a manual for the proper procedure. Most garages have the proper connectors to scan these systems.
The computer module for a 2001 Ford Taurus is located just behind the glove compartment. This provides a level of safety for the computer and allows for easy access to the ODBII port.
The diagnostic port on a 94 Ford Taurus is located under the hood near the firewall usually on the driver's side. Ford started producing the Taurus in 1985.

Very simple, actually I just did it, the ODBII port is directly under the steering wheel where the carpet and trim meet.

In the 2000 Ford Taurus the low side freon port when facing the car from the front is on the left side fire wall. It may have a blue or black cap.
