The Audi Q7's filter is located in a housing on the drivers side of the engine, slightly above the Oil pan. To get to it, raise the Q7, and take off the plastic skid plate that runs along the transmission. Once that is off you will see the Oil Drain Bolt. Look to the left of the Oil Pan, and you will see a black cover with a 36mm, 6 pt. nut on it. Inside there is the oil filter. The Oil Filter Removal tool can be purchased at either Pep-Boys (which it where I bought mine), or NAPA (which takes about a day to get).
