Stand in front of the car, more toward the driver side. Look straight down to where the yellow oil dip stick handle is. Just behind it about 2 to 4 inches toward the windshield, there is a round metal canister (part of the engine block) with a plastic top on it. The top has a nut fitting ( about 1 1/2 wrench size maybe a little smaller). Unscrew this and your filter is inside and will pop off of the lid part. It is one of those paper oil filters.
