Center of the rear valve cover.
The PCV just slips out and slips in; no tools required in most cases.

Behind the engine near the firewall
Yes, it is in the hose coming off of the rear valve cover.
valve cover on the top back of engine. its on top of the plastic valve cover.
On top of the intake cover on the right side.
It might be that your pcv valve is plugged or the egr valve is sticking.
Under hood, center, upper engine area, mounted in front valve cover
I have 1 1999 Dodge Neon Sport and the PCV valve is located on a hose that comes out of the Valve cover. The hose is very brittle (possibly due to heat) and can crack when you try to replace the PCV valve so be prepared to replace the hose, clamps, etc. as well.
open the hood, reach up and over the intake manifold, the PCV valve is right on the middle of the back valve cover. you should see a short rubber tube that comes out of the middle of the back valve cover and into the intake manifold. the plastic part that is screwed into the middle of the valve cover is the PCV valve..
