It is locate on the passengers side of the car below the intake manifold near the 4th cylinder it is a bear to get and replace. Recommed that you use a mechanic but, it has been suggested that you remove the serpentine belt and the oil filter and other parts underneath to get to it from the bottom....I prefer to remove the intake manifold and get to it from the top but this requires more mechanical skill and less time. it sits about mid engine above the oil filter and buried in a little hole. it's hard to see
'I have been through this on my 94 Altima, and let me warn you, it's not a walk in the park by any stretch of the imagination. The PCV valve is located beneath the intake manifold on the right (passenger) side. It threads into the breather seperator and points toward the center of the car. To remove it, you'll have to remove the Idle Air Control valve located on the end of the manifold log. Be aware that you'll have to do at least part of this task underneath the car, and that the IAC valve has antifreeze circulating through it (I found this out the HARD way!!!!!). It also might help to unbolt the breather seperator from the head. If you can afford it, pay a mechanic if it really needs to be done.
everyone should have a manual for their vechicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual available in the reference section for FREE to make copies of--the PRO manual has more detailed info, and may have wiring diagrams when needed...read up and fix 'em like a PRO...good luck Dave :)
GM had some fun playing musical PCV valves on their 90 degree V6 engines during that time period.
Some had the PCV valve in the valve cover usually the LH valve cover which is the one closest to the radiator. Some had the PCV valve stuck into the (lower) intake manifold along the left side about halfway back (just rearward of the middle of the LH valve cover) or at the front middle of the intake manifold (near where the belts are.) All of those locations should be fairly easy to see with a flashlight.
On some vehicles, and I think this may be later than 1993, the PCV valve is inserted under a little access cap mounted high up on the upper intake. The cap looks like it accepts a 3/8 inch ratchet to unscrew, but it is generally best to turn it my hand about a quarter turn counterclockwise to remove the cap and reveal the valve.
In any case, when changing a PCV valve, check that any related rubber grommets or hoses are in good condition. A leaking grommet or hose must be replaced to prevent poor running condition, lack of PCV operation, or oil leakage.
On the 2.5L 4 cylinder, it is located right on top of the valve cover towards the front (left) of the motor.
I believe it is next to the oil filter. That's where it is on my 1993.
The PCV valve on a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder is located on top of the engine, in the valve cover. It connects to the throttle body using a small length of rubber hose.
It is at the top of the valve cover. Hope that heps!
It is very important to change PCV valve. If valve is old it will plug or seize. This will cause oil pressure to rise and may cause leaks. Most likely the valve cover gaskets will leak if PCV valve is plugged.
To change PVC valve on a 1993 Nissan 300zx, first remove the oil dip stick and remove the tension clip from the PVC valve hose. Then remove the hose and the old PVC valve. Replace with a new PVC valve.
yes replace the PCV valve it cheep ,,
should be on top of valve cover This picture will help you find the PCV valve http://www.clublexus.com/forums/es300-and-es330-forum/418700-2001-lexus-es300-pcv-where-is-it.html What you really need to know is that if your engine has been desludged the L shaped plastic PCV valve would have been replaced with the metallic, straight screw in PCV valve first introduced in 2002.
where is the pcv valve located on a 2003 Nissan sentra

You can find the PCV valve for your 1987 Nissan on top of the engine. The PCV valve will be near the air filter housing.

Where is the PCV Valve on a Mazda B2300 2003
I had the same question. Seems it does not have a PCV valve.
The 2003 Subaru Outback PCV valve is located on the air cleaner housing. The PCV valve will be on the back of the housing.
It is located on the air intake manifold. If you are standing at the front of the engine compartment, it is on the manifold at the top right hand side.
