The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve is attached to a valve cover. I don't know about the 4 cylinder but for the V-6 you have to remove the plastic noise cover to reach it. Once you can see the valve cover(s) the PCV is pretty obvious. It's plugged into the cover with a vacuum hose attached.

In the gas tank, connected to the fuel pump. Cheers
The 2004-2008 Toyota Solara takes 24" driver side and 19" passenger side replacement windshield wiper blades.
Curb Weight, 3,615 lbs.
The Solara is the two-door coupe version of the Camry, and is also available as a convertible. If it's a 4-door, it would not be a Solara, but rather a Camry. The Solara coupe was discontinued at the end of the 2008 model year and the convertible was only produced in limited numbers after that.
It should be on the top of the valve cover connecting the engine and the injector.
Where is PVC valve located on 2008 Taurus
I don't know the answer, but we have a 2007 Solara & we have the same probem. The Dealer replaced something last week but it still has the same problem. It always seems to work at the dealer. Dave
You do not adjust the valve clearance on a 2008 Toyota until it has 60000 miles. At that point, you might pay for getting it checked, or check it yourself. However, Corollas normally run 100,000 miles and even longer without any need for adjusting the valve clearance.
Under the engine block !
Under the hood.
See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers
It is on the top of the rear valve cover. It is on the top of the rear valve cover.
