Strange name for a Throne! :) Although of dubious ancestry the car is now in the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. It probably never belonged to the Duke and it probably wasn't really painted with gold (60 pounds was claimed). It is a rarity for its round doors and sloping radiator. I saw the car in a trailer at a shopping center carnival on Staten Island in the late 50's. It was the handiwork of a Carny huckster who bought the original car in derelict condition and "tarted" it up and showed it at carnivals. Though not a "Royal Relic" it is a beautiful car.
