i need to know what wires need to be disconnected to change tail light assembly on a 92 saturn sl See sources and related links below for bulb information.
1 and the coolant temp sensor is located in the head under the upper rad hose
Two main causes for this on a SL's SW's or SC's are 1) a leaking PCV hose from the valve cover to the intake 2) a faulty coolant sensor ( yellow and black wires) by upper coolant hose Other possible causes are a leaking intake gasket or throttle body gasket. Hope this helps-
The average cost of repairing a clutch on a 1999 Saturn SL is anywhere between $400 to $3000. The Saturn SL was produced from 1990 to 2002.
Follow the radiator hose to the block on the drivers side. It will be clamped to a hose connection where the t-stat is. Right next to that connection on the right is the PCM coolant temp sensor.
Follow the top radiator hose to the engine, what that mounts to is the thermostat housing, remove this and there is your thermostat. * ** *** **** ***** Actually, on my 1997 SL2, the thermostat is on the bottom radiator hose. I would check the "Saturn Thermostat Pictures" link below, which also has installation and removal instructions.

are you sure the pioneer isn't after market? if it is here is the Saturn sl wiring diagram
Many possibilities. Suggest you have car computer read for codes. The computer knows all. Probaly put the intake gasket in wrong. Sounds like a vacuum leak....Is your PCV hose ripped/and or collapsed?
The starter on a 2000 Saturn SL is located on the bottom, left side of the engine. It is powered directly by the vehicle's battery.
