The Sun is where it has always been, in the center of the planets. But if you were wondering, the Earth rotates,, thats how we get night and day. When one part of the Earth turns that way,the Moon "looks" down on that part of the Earth and the Sun "looks" at the other. Then in the next 12 hours when the Earth kept on rotating (never stops rotating) the Sun looked on the other side of the Earth and the Moon on the other. In the next 12 hours... and so on and so on...
Hope this helps :)
No. The Sun is simply facing the other side of the Earth at nighttime.
Because, wherever you are at that time, it is only nighttime for there. The sun is shining onto the other side of the Earth. At the same time some of its rays are hitting the Moon, having passed by the Earth.
The northern hemisphere has nighttime
No, but if it is nighttime you can see it reflect the sunlight (if it is not in Earth's shadow).
Nighttime on the moon is cold because there's no sunlight to warm it and no atmosphere to trap the heat.Note: the far side of the moon isn't always dark.
because when the sun is facing one side of the Earth it is daytime when there is no sunlight facing the other half of the Earth it is nighttime.
Away
No. The Sun is simply facing the other side of the Earth at nighttime.
Away
The Earth is round, and cities are located in different spots. As the Earth turns, different spots (cities) come under the Sun (daytime) and others are in the shadow of the Earth (nighttime).
Because the Earth orbits around the sun, and the sun is more visible daytime. One part of the earth faces Sun during the day.
The rotation of the earth enables most part of the earth to experience darkness or nighttime. Earth’s rotation occurs from west to east, which is why the Sun always appears to be rising on the eastern horizon and setting on the western.
Daytime is when the sun is up. Nighttime is when the sun goes down.
The 70% of the sun's energy that is absorbed by the earth's surface, differences in solar energy that the earth receives across the globe.
When the earth is facing the sun it is daytime and when it's facing the moon or when it's not facing the sun it is nighttime
The sun cant be on both sides of the earth at one time.
The temperature is lower during nighttime because of the sun's heat. At nighttime, the moon is out and the sun is on the other side of the earth. Since the other side isn't getting heat from the sun, temperatures will begin to deduct.
