In a 2000 Ford Expedition : Either the 4.6 liter / 281 cubic inch V8 engine or the 5.4 liter / 330 cubic inch V8 engine ( from the factory )

According to the ( 1997 ) Ford Expedition Owner Guide : Both the 4.6 liter engine and the 5.4 liter engine take : ( 5.7 liters of engine oil with engine oil filter change )
With engine oil filter change : ( 6.0 quarts / 5.7 liters ) for the 5.4 liter V8 engine in a 1997 Ford Expedition
For a 2000 Ford Expedition : The 4.6 liter V8 engine uses the ( 4R70W ) The 5.4 liter V8 engine uses the ( 4R100 )
It is on top of the evap can on the back left side of the engine bay
If the 4.6 liter is in a Ford Expedition it should be ( 6 quarts ) with engine oil filter change
