take the air intake pipe off the top of throttle housing clean inside of chamber with choke and carb cleaner put the air intake pipe back on and start car light shuold go out.
Just after the airbox before the air flow sensor
You need to pipe the air intake into the fender.
On the intake of the carburettor where the air ram pipe / air filter fits.
non turbos have them in the air intake mainfold, turbo engines have them on the inside the box that conects the air intake pipe and the air intake filter just remove the filter from this box and also remove this box from the air itake pipe and you can see the iat sensor in there
You can drive a car without an air intake pipe but it may end up pulling hot air in from the engine compartment. This will reduce the engine's overall performance.
The idle air control valve on a Vauxhall Vectra B is located on the intake manifold. The valve is placed in front of the air tubing, right behind the engine cylinder head.
the "intake air temperture" sensor is located in the intake air stream. usually in the air cleaner housing or in the hose pipe that directs air to the engine
in the air pipe from the air filter box to the engine
The IAT (Intake Air Temp Sensor) you are looking for is located in the Air Flow Sensor which is located at the end of the rubber intake pipe.
