there are 8 intake valves in that engine. They are located in the cylinder head, 2 per cylinder.
Three. Inlet valve, fuel injection valve, exhaust valve.
It is internal to the fuel injection pump.
from memory its 14thou intake and exhaust
As a diesel engine does not have a throttle valve in the air intake, no useable depression is created in the intake manifold. That is why diesel engines are fitted with vacuum pumps to operate the brake servo.
"Central point" is basically like the old GM "Throttle Body Injection" system, where there is only one injector in the throttle body itself. Multi-port fuel injection has an injector for each cylinder, commonly in the intake manifold just before the intake valve for the cylinder. Some newer cars and trucks are now coming out with "Direct injection," in which the fuel is injected directly into the cylinder, similar to a diesel engine.
how much valve clearance triton 2,5.intake and exhaust ??
It has a Better spray pattern and also will inject fuel in the open intake valve (indirect injection).
.0015 intake and .0025 exhaust
I'm not sure what you mean by a "fuel injection valve". There are six fuel injectors, mounted into the lower intake manifold, attached to fuel rails. Only the front 3 are really visible.
Well, a fuel injector isn't a needle, it's a solenoid valve. They are located on the intake manifold.
under the intake port tubes
Direct injection injects the fuel charge directly into the combustion chamber, (more efficient). Indirect injection injects the fuel charge into the intake port behind the intake valve, or in the case of Throttle Body injection, into the center of the intake manifold for distribution to the cylinders. Indirect injection was much cheaper to produce, but resulted in higher emissions and reduced power relative to direct injection.Source(s):ASE Master Technician, 46 years experience.
