It is located behind the Passenger side rear tire. If jacked up and you climb under from rear bumper look to your left in between gas tank and tail exhaust. Good sized box with wire harness and clip on it.
Also if your air ride is not working in some cases the shock may be busted and the pump will not kick on. Hope this helps.
I really dislike the goofball answers some people put, ifyou don't know the answer then don't answer.
Air ride compressor, air suspension compressor, and air pump are the names used for the same device. They are used to pump up the air suspension.
No it should not. They have a ride height switch, which cycles the compressor. You probably have an air leak in the system.
A person can reset the air ride suspension on a Cadillac Deville by disconnecting the compressor wiring harness from the compressor itself. This is accomplished by putting the vehicle on ramps.
I think they have air ride shocks in the rear not the whole suspension.
There is a ball joint on the lower control arms of the suspension that allows a rod to connect to a ride height sensor and this is how it figures out what the suspension is doing and it uses a hydraulic system to change the suspension.
I need help with 1998 Lincoln mk8 air ride compressor not kick in?
there is no way to adjust the ride height other then aftermarket suspension parts
There is a leak somwhere in the system or a failure in the pump. It is also possible that there is a faulty level meter. You can trace it down, but the most common solution is simply to convert the airbag/air ride suspension over to a coil suspension.
Remove the wiper fluid container, it's under there.
Best bet is E-Bay
i believe in the trunk right 1/4 panel
Usually under the hood on the inner fender of the left side
