the 20 amp alternator field minifuse is loosley connected below the lower 175 amp alternator megafuse on the firewall next to the battery.
Fuse ( # 3 ) is a 25 amp fuse for the cigar lighter on a 1997 Ford Expedition ( located in the fuse ( junction ) box under the drivers side of the dash )
Inside and integral to the alternator.
Fuse #3 is for the cigarettes lighter

The easiest way to disarm the 1997 Ford Expedition factory alarm is to remove the fuse. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
The 1997 Ford Expedition owners manual shows that fuse # 1 in the junction box ( interior fuse panel ) is a 15 amp fuse for the stop / turn lamps
Bad ground or alternator stating to go bad.
I believe it is under the dash on the drivers side
