Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches.
The drain fill on a 1997 Dodge Avenger manual transmission is on the bottom of the transmission. It is located up from the drain plug.
Happened on my 97 avenger. On one occasion, it was the ASD Automatic Shut Down relay. Located on the firewall, right beside the brake fluid reservoir. Middle relay of the three, I think. After repairing this, I had the same problem a year later, as my car died on the highway doing 70 mph. The problem this time was the distributor. I think the distributor is more likely as I have found it to be a common problem in the Avenger. (The distributor develops a short internally)
Automatic is red. Manual is yellow-brown.
yes but you also have to change headlight assemblies also. not worth doing. just find a 97+ bumper.
On my 97 Avenger is located on the dash right above the back window defroster. It will show a symbol in red.
all 97-2000 avenger body parts will fit. the 95-96 used different trunk, rear bumper, front bumper, and headlights, but everything else fits on a 97'+ avenger. also 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse doors are inter-changeable with an avenger, but you have to switch the window glass from the avenger into the Eclipse door.
either a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder or a 2.5 liter V6
6300 RPM Automatic 6800 RPM Manuel
No, they will not work, the Intrepid uses a 9007 (hi & low beam in one bulb), the Avenger uses a 9005 & 9006 (separate bulbs for hi & low beam), therefore neither the headlight housing nor the headlight bulbs will interchange.
