The switch may be part of the safety/neutral switch located on the side of the transmission. First, look for a electrical switch that's screwed into the top of the transmission. It will have a connector with it because it may be seperate. It is on the mamual trans. Maybe go to a mechanic shop that works on Toyota vehicles and ask or pick up a repair manual. If you have access to the computer programs "Mitchell on Demand" or "AllData", or ones like that, they will give you complete descriptions, photos and information on your car. If you may need the brake light switch, that is at the top of, and behind the brake pedal. Make sure you do the simple checks first, like fuses, wires and bulbs, if there is a problem because you don't want to replace things that don't need it. Hope this helps.
