The O2 sensers are screewed into the exhaust pipes. Bank 2 is the passenger side of the engine and senser 1 is the one that is the closets to the exhaust manifold where the exhaust pipe bolts to the engine. Senser 2 is further down in the exhaust pipe towards the converter.
Bank 2 is the passenger side of the engine. and the 02 senser is screewed into the exhaust pipe on that side. Work your way back to the muffler and you will see it.
Bank 2 is the passenger side of the engine. Bank 1 is the drivers side of the engine.02 sensor 1 is the sensor that is the closest to the exhaust manifold that bolts to the side of the cylinder head.Sensor 2 is the one that is closer to the exhaust muffler.
Standing in the front of the engine: Bank 2 is the left head and 02 sensor 1 will be the first and closest sensor in the exhaust pipe were the pipe hooks to the engine.
Bank 2 is the right side of the motor if sitting in the seat and sensor 1 is the first 02 sensor that is in the exhaust manifold.
That is behind the catalytic converter.

Bank one is usually the left side of the motor and sensor 2 would be the one past the converter.
It don't have a fuse for the 02 sensors.
Bank 1 = Right side of the exhaustSensor 1 = the first 02 in line before cat.Sensor 2 = the last 02 in line after the cat.Bank 2 = Left side of the exhaustSensor 1 = the first 02 in line before cat.Sensor 2 = the last 02 in line after the cat.
where is the oxygen sensor location on a 1998 explorer bank 2 sensor
location bank 1 sensor 1
Bank 1 is the same side as cylinder #1. Sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter.
