Actually these wide range oxygen sensors are now called air/fuel ratio sensors.
There are 3 or 4 on a V6 engine. 3 if it has 1 catalytic converter 4 if it has 2 converters.
Bank 1 refers to the cylinders closest to the front bumper. Bank 2 is against the firewall.
Sensor 1 is in the exhaust manifold ( near the cylinder head)
Sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter.
Therefore bank 2 sensor 2 would be aft of the catalytic converter attached to the exhaust manifold closest to the passenger compartment.
