I have a 1991 750il and the battery is located under the back passenger side seat. We have had difficulty getting the seat off but there is supposed to be 2 clips that you undo and it comes off. I suggest lifting the front up and releasing the two clips. But if you are just looking to give the vehicle a jump to start it there is a positive battery terminal located under the hood near the top of the driver's side close to the windshield. It should be marked with a plastic cover, but if it isn't, it looks like a bolt that you connect the red end of a jumper cable to and the negative to another unpainted metal part under the hood. But the battery is under the rear passenger side seat, fiddle with it and it will reveal itself. Good Luck!
It should be in the boot usually on the right hand side.
on my 89 its under the rear passenger side seat
what is the battery suit the BMW 730I 1992 model?
An E38 750il uses 8 quarts even.
in the trunk on the right side behind the panel. Yo might have to bend down to see it
where is the starter
It was a black BMW 750iL sedan [BMW 7 Series (E38)].
The BMW 750il has a "sealed for life" ZF transmission. There is no dipstick. Still would recommend changing fluid & filter every 100k.
The battery is located in the trunk on a 1992 BMW 520i. it is on the right hand side, behind the carpet panel.
for a complete oil change, the 2001 bmw 750iL requires 8.5 quarts or 5W30 or 5W40 full synthetic oil.
