the battery of your cobalt is located in the trunk of the vehicle. first place i looked was the hood and to my surprise it wasn't so i looked in my owners Manuel and read that it was located in the trunk.
you cant look in the hood its under the hood
actually it is in the trunk in front of the spare tire
