Since you have to wait a while for potatoes (or other crops) to grow, it is best to visit all the places you can. Search the online guides for "farming patches"; some of the online guides include maps. A few more notes:
- It is best to use teleports whenever you can, to reach the farming patches, as well as to go back to a bank. Don't worry too much about walking distance.
- Potatoes aren't a very good farming option; as soon as you have a higher level, change to other crops.
- To earn money with farming, you can plant herbs - many herbs give a decent profit.
- On the other hand, to quickly get higher farming levels, the best options are trees, and fruit trees.
