This is one of the simplest jobs you can do on an Accord. You will need a 10mm box-end wrench and a jug of Honda Genuine coolant - accept no substitutes.Turn your heater controls to the full-on setting and pop the hood. Find the upper radiator hose and trace it back to the engine. On the place where it goes in (the thermostat housing) you will find a bleeder nipple. Take the radiator cap off, open the nipple and start pouring coolant into the radiator until a steady stream of fluid comes out of the nipple. Then close it quick, make sure the radiator is full, and put the radiator cap back on.
How do you bleed air from radiator of a 2000 range rover?
back bleed is always the best. Use a oil can wth pipe on the end to the bleed nipple. Open nipple and pump like mad until fluid is at its level on master cylinder
ask your doctor
next to the radiator cap on top of the radiator
yes, if this has happened you should also watch for infection
With an Easy-Out.
Of course
You're simply going to have to have it removed and replace it. That nipple is at the lowest point in the system and there is no other way to drain it unless you have the system power flushed.
The first step that you can take to fix a radiator is to see if it needs to be bled. To bleed a radiator you will need a radiator bleed key. Unscrew the valve at the side of the radiator and when the first drop of water comes out, close the valve again. If this does not fix the radiator you will need to call in a plumber.
You shouldn't need to "bleed" the radiator in your Forester. If you top off the coolant in the radiator the next time you check the top of your radiator is empty again? You have a blown head gasket. Voice of experience here. --Ken
Follow the lower coolant hose from the radiator to the engine block. The housing where it attaches should hold the thermostat. Make sure you insert a new thermostat with the bleed nipple on the top.
