How much does it cost to retrofit a twenty three passenger van with a wheelchair ramp?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Check on EBay for a Hydraulic Tail lift and ask local garage about fitting.

I sold the Hydraulic Tail lift off my old Welfare Ambulance for £75.

The reason for removing was that I am converting to a Campervan.

Be carful though. The Hydraulic Tail lift unit is VERY HEAVY!

Hope this helps

How do you enter radio code Ford Transit?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Probably the same as '87 - you must run the car or leave the key on for 1 hour before entering the code! (Then use the numbered push buttons)

It depends on the brand. From the manual for my 1989 XJS with a Clarion stereo...

CATS:

1. Turn on the set

2. Enter the radio code

3. If the number is correct the set will start working

If you've entered an incorrect number...

1. Press the CATS button for 3 seconds - the wrong code will disappear

2. Enter the correct number

Ford transit just die and now wont turn over but has pently life in battery?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

You don't say what year the transit is. More than likely it will be the starter motor.. However the newer transits have a fused earth lead, under the drivers seat, the fuse usually blows when the starter motor starts to get a bit tight down to the build up of clutch dust on the drive. Run a jump lead from the negative battery terminal to the engine lifting eye and see if it starts. that will tell you if the fused earth has blown.
