located on each brake caliper/wheel cylinder for drum brakes. have an assistant pump brake pedal several times then hold down. open bleeder valve. repeat on each wheel until only fluid comes out. top off master cylinder as required. I suggest using line wrench on bleeder screws.

I had the same problem and after a bit of searching, it ended up being the Park fuse. Fuse Number 4 on my 2001 Dodge Dakota.

remove the negative cable from the battery and push your brakes about 5 times. Don't reconnect the negative cable until about an hour after you've pushed the brakes.
i have seen the flex hoses collapse if some one has pinched them off to stop fluid loss during service of calipers if you open the bleeder screws and the brakes release you will need to release the flex hosesI have an '88 Dakota that had the same problem. I changed the calipers which didn't help, so I checked the master cylinder and found out the piston had seized up. I put a new one on and it worked like a charm.
