Where is the block heater cord on a 2010 dodge ram truck?
Right below the passenger side headlight where your tow hooks are.
Modern block heaters are installed inline in the heater hose going from the engine to the firewall, instead of electrically warming the engine block they circulate heated water through the coolant system, which is kinda nice because you will have warn heat inside the vehicle a lot faster in addition to nice viscous oil.
first, an engine heater has to have been installed on the vehicle. if the car did have an engine heater installed in it, most newer vehicles would have had a soft plug heater put in. soft plugs are located on the side of the engine block. they knock that plug out and install a heater in it. look for any ac wire( it will look like a three prong plug on any of your household…
Why would a pink odorless liquid leak from a football shaped plate on the front of the passenger-side front of the engine block on a 2004 Sienna van?
I sure sounds like a coolant leak at the block heater plate. If you are looking up at the engine and it is about 3" left of the oil filter that's what is it. In extremely cold climates this port is were the block heater attaches, in most places it is just a bolted on plate with an RTV silicon material for gasketing.
