Where is the block heater for a 2009 Pontiac G5 4 door sedan?
I had one and kept it in the trunk until it was needed
The 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe does not have a factory block heater option. Beginning in 2009 there is a port to install a Hyundai manufactured block heater for cars built for sale in Canada. Pre-2009 requires a heater to go in a freeze-plug hole, so the cord is wherever the installer put it, usually behind grille.
To normally install a block heater you must remove an expanstion/ freeze plug in tighten in the block heater. The 6 cylinder 4.2L engine unfortunately does not appear to have any such plugs. The V8 engine should have a screw in style block heater installed in the left front of the engine block just below the cylinder head.
The engine block heater cord for the 2009 Ford Flex is at the top front section of the engine, right above the radiator fan. Open the hood and look down toward the radiator, it is right in front on top of the radiator. The cord has a round cover on it. Remove the round cover and you will see the 3-prong plug-in.
