Not positive, but I think it's behind your glovebox. You'll have to take it out to get to it.
It is under the hood in the passenger side firewall.
On a 87 Jeep Wagoneer Limited 4x4, 242cid 4.0L, M.O.H.V. - M, it is located under the kick plate on the passenger side. Unscrew the plate and you will see the vacuum motor (which looks like a flying saucer) and to the left of it you will see the resistor. Unplug the four prong wire, and unscrew the two screws holding it in the duct, and lift out. (Takes about ten minutes to remove)
RH under hood, between blower and evaporator according to diagram. The blower control module is most likely the culprit. It was on my 87 covette ,easy to replace but cost about $150.00
Depending on the year 87 and up is in the tank Depending on the year 87 and up is in the tank
coil wireing order on 87 d21 z24 motor truck
the 87 didn't have resistors it has a computer behind the battery.
I not sure
eighty
If it is the same or similar to an 87, there are a few small bolts holding the motor in place in its duct on the firewall (on the engine side), near the passenger side of the vehicle. Depending on the engine, getting it out may be a little difficult. There are also wires attached to terminals on the motor that must be removed by gently pulling them off.
First look at the manufacturing date on the rear of the driver's door; example 7/87 you need that to follow the motor swap. Turbo Before 4/87 1984-1986 Turbo After 5/87 1987-1989 Turbo NoN-Turbo Before 3/87 1984-1987 Non Turbo NoN-Turbo After 4/87 1987-1989 Non Turbo
yes it will still mount the same. the motor mount are the same and same place throughout the 84-89 300zx turbo and non-turbo. but you will either have to take the alternator bracket of the 86 motor and put it on the left side of the 87 motor and take the right side alternator and bracket off or run the alternator wiring to the passenger side of the car.
