2005 ford freestyle has no cabin air filter.

I was looking at the 2006 Ford Escape Owner Guide and it doesn't show anything about it having a cabin air filter from the factory
2006 and other ford escape's does not have a cabin filter, however there are many aftermarket cabin filters that can be installed. It does however have a cabin filter for the batter pack on hyrid models that needs to be changed regularly. This filter is located in the rear hatch to the driversideof the vehicle.
I was looking at the 2006 Ford Explorer Owner Guide and it does not show anything about it having a cabin air filter , so I would say NO

According to the 2006 Ford Freestyle Owner Guide ( and one of Fords websites ) The ( Motorcraft FL-820-S ) engine oil filter is used with the 3.0 liter Duratec , V6
The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side under the cowl
5.7 liters ( 6.0 U.S. quarts ) with engine oil filter change , according to the 2006 Ford Freestyle Owner Guide
To access the cabin air filter on the 2007 Ford Freestyle you must first remove the glove box. Simply open the glove box, pinch in the two rubber stoppers on the lateral edges to get them past the jams. The box rolls forward and out of the way. Look to the left in the opening. You should see a housing in the black duct work if the vehicle was equipped with a cabin air filter.
