it is in the top center rear of the engine where the distis normally located be careful you need a special tool to set it correctly if it is removed

It should be in the tail shaft of the transmission. That's where mine is on 94 auto transmission.
Check the tail shaft of the transmission, if not their it is in the top of the diff housing, but that is mostly newer modles.
