I only know of 1 cam sensor on the 3.1! it is under power steering pump. remove pump, do not take off hoses just set it aside. now you can see sensor, remove bolt that holds sensor, and remove sensor by pulling straight up.

All depending on the year of your vehicle will determine the location of the camshaft position. The camshaft position sensor, or cps, is located just under the head gasket. They are two different sensors, so be sure to deal with the correct one.

take the belt off, remove the three bolts by turning the pulley (there are three holes in it to see the bolts), then you can get to the camshaft sensor.
