behind the harmonic balancer
In the intake snorkel tube.
Climb up and lean over the top of the engine and look at the top right rear corner of the intake and you will see the oil sending unit. The cam sensor is tucked under the corner of the intake just alittle and it is beside the oil sending unit. It is hard to see but it's there.
what eng. do you have? if it is a 5.4 or a 4.6 it is under the intake manifold on the passenger side.
If you are talking about the Engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) it is mounted in the following locations: 1.8L eng. in the cylinder head. 1.9L eng. threaded into the heater hose inlet pipe. and the 2.0L eng. at the left rear of the engine
If this is the 93 Grandprix with the 3.1 eng. the Knock sensor is located just under the manifold back next to the fire wall you can see it from the bottom. It's hard to get to if you have small hands you can touch it from the bottom. However it is much easer to let the eng. cool down lean over the eng. close to the front of the eng. if you can get your hand and arm back there it is much easer to remove and replace from that point. I know I did one from the bottom it took 1.5 hours from the top it less than 15 minutes.
adjust the idle i think you need a o2 sensor
